I was at the gym the other day and I was about to give my knee a bit of a workout. I got out of the bike, stood up, and started running. I didn’t realize that my knee was starting to give me trouble, so I pulled it out and took a few steps back. My knee was screaming at me and I was very close to snapping. I took a few quick steps and decided to let it go and walk the rest of the way.

While the movements you do are pretty much the same in both sports, the goal of both activities is to build muscle and increase power. In fact, these movements are often used as a form of exercise in the gym to burn off excess fat. The movements of sports systems are often used to build leg strength, core strength, and, eventually, anaerobic power.
