I was raised on a farm and have been riding my bike since I was a kid. I have been riding motorcycles since high school and I have even ridden a motorcycle in the Olympics. I’ve done all of these things and I have never once thought I wouldn’t be able to do them again.
How much of what you have is right? If you have a really strong mind, then you do get out of the way. But, if you’re mentally weak, then you’re useless. You may not have done anything wrong, but you’re not going to go back and fix it.
