I really like sports that put more effort into the learning aspects of the game, as opposed to the entertainment aspects. I can’t decide if it’s more about the game or the athlete or both. Regardless, though, I like how a sport puts you in the driver’s seat, so that you have to learn the rules, strategize your play, and make the most of the time you have with the sport.
The good stuff is the player’s training aspect of the sport. In its most basic form, the sport is about training and practicing. Like in any sport, there are training and competition phases, and players are expected to prepare themselves physically and mentally for the competition. By putting more effort into learning these skills, you can learn more efficiently, and improve your chances of winning.
