I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen this phrase, “bayside sports academy,” in my Facebook feed. It’s basically a place where you can work out, watch movies, eat, and sleep without having to drive somewhere. It’s a bit of a stretch for me, but I have no problem with it. I think it just means that it’s in the area where people live in bayside.
It also explains why I dont like the term “bayside” for any places where people live. I think its just a weird way to say “side to side”. The word “bayside” in the context of people living in bayside is just a weird way to say “side to side”.
In the US, we use the word bayside to mean the area of a bay, but in the UK it refers to the area of the bay where people live (not the area where the bay is). In the UK bayside means that people live in a bay, but in the US its just the area of a bay.
